Nice to meet you!

I'm a UX Designer passionate about empowering individuals and communities through technology and design. My diverse professional background has shaped my approach in my work as a UX Designer - I combine empathy, research, problem-solving, and storytelling to create intuitive and delightful digital experiences.

My path into design…

🎬 Studied film

Before joining the field of UX design, I earned my bachelor’s degree in film production and had the opportunity to write and direct a short film. That experience taught me the power of iteration—how feedback and refinement can shape a better story. It’s a mindset I naturally carried into UX, where I prioritize feedback and continuous improvement. I also learned how to be creative within tight budget constraints.

💼 Non-profit work

After college, I started working in grant writing and operations at a nonprofit organization. That time deepened my empathy, sharpened my storytelling, and gave me a solid foundation in strategic thinking. All of which has shaped how I approach design problems—by grounding solutions in user needs while keeping business goals in focus.

🚀 Pivot into UX

While working at the non-profit, I realized I wanted to make an impact through more tangible solutions. That led me to study UX Design at UC Berkeley Extension, where I earned a certificate and gained hands-on experience in UX design principles and techniques, including design thinking, user research, wireframing, prototyping, UI and visual design, information architecture, content strategy, accessibility, and HTML/CSS.

Trying out new recipes in my kitchen. I especially love Japanese cuisine.

Traveling and learning about other cultures. My most recent trip was to South Korea.
